The ProTrust folder contains the following secured items:
Change Trust Account
- Change Trust Account: If this permission is granted, the user can access the Change Trust Account feature in ProTrust. This feature changes all ledgers associated with one trust account to another. NOTE: This process has serious consequences and cannot be undone, so the permission should be tightly restricted.
- Override calculated balance: If this permission is granted, the user will be allowed to move forward with the Change Trust Account process even if the amount entered by the user does not match the amount calculated by the system. This is not recommended because it may cause trust account balance issues that cannot be corrected.
- Transactions after trust account change: If edit permission is granted, the user will be allowed to edit some of the fields on a transaction after a bank change. If delete permission is granted, the user will be allowed to delete a transaction posted in the old trust account after a bank change.
Ledger
- "Exempt" field: If this permission is granted, the user can mark an order as exempt from dormant ledger reporting.
- "Locked" field lock: If this permission is granted, the user can manually lock a ledger to prevent money from being receipted into or disbursed from the ledger.
- "Locked" field unlock: If this permission is granted, the user can manually unlock a ledger to allow money to be receipted into or disbursed from the ledger.
- Ledger: If add permission is granted, the user can create a new ledger. If edit permission is granted, the user an edit an existing ledger. If delete permission is granted, user can delete an existing ledger.
- Unlock without requiring auto-lock date: If this permission is granted, the user is not required to enter a date for the ledger to be automatically locked again when unlocking a ledger.
Module
If this permission is granted, the ProTrust tab will appear on the user's screen and the user will have access to the ProTrust module.
Positive Pay
Assigns a user rights to execute. If this permission is not granted, the user will not have the ability to access the Positive Pay button and associated functionality.
Reconciliation
Assigns a user rights to execute the reconciliation process. If this permission is not granted, the user will not have the ability to access the Reconciliation button and associated functionality.
Reports
- Accounting: If this permission is granted, the user can access reports with category "Accounting" from the ProTrust Reports tree. If not granted, the user will not see these reports even if they are included in the user's tree.
- Bulk Sales: If this permission is granted, the user can access reports with category "Bulk Sales" from the ProTrust Reports tree. If not granted, the user will not see these reports even if they are included in the user's tree.
- Commercial - Escrow: If this permission is granted, the user can access reports with category "Commercial - Escrow" from the ProTrust Reports tree. If not granted, the user will not see these reports even if they are included in the user's tree.
- Commercial - Title: If this permission is granted, the user can access reports with category "Commercial - Title" from the ProTrust Reports tree. If not granted, the user will not see these reports even if they are included in the user's tree.
- Escrow: If this permission is granted, the user can access reports with category "Escrow" from the ProTrust Reports tree. If not granted, the user will not see these reports even if they are included in the user's tree.
- Management - Escrow: If this permission is granted, the user can access reports with category "Management - Escrow" from the ProTrust Reports tree. If not granted, the user will not see these reports even if they are included in the user's tree.
- Management - Title: If this permission is granted, the user can access reports with category "Management - Title" from the ProTrust Reports tree. If not granted, the user will not see these reports even if they are included in the user's tree.
- Management: If this permission is granted, the user can access reports with category "Management" from the ProTrust Reports tree. If not granted, the user will not see these reports even if they are included in the user's tree.
- Title : If this permission is granted, the user can access reports with category "Title" from the ProTrust Reports tree. If not granted, the user will not see these reports even if they are included in the user's tree.
- Unrestricted: If this permission is granted, the user can access reports with category "Unrestricted" from the ProTrust Reports tree. If not granted, the user will not see these reports even if they are included in the user's tree.
Search
If permission is granted, the user can access the Search button and associated functionality.
