Importing Prompts

Prompts exported to a text file can be added to the Prompts Manager by using the Import Prompts from File button.

  1. Select Tools > Prompts Manager.
  2. Click Import Prompts. The Open dialog box displays.
  3. Browse for the text file to open. Select a different drive or folder to look in by clicking the down arrow next to the Look in field.
  4. Click Open. The prompts in the text file are added to the Prompts Manager.

Importing Errors

Each prompt in the text file will be checked to make sure it is formatted properly. All prompts that are written in the correct format will be imported and will appear on the Prompts Manager. Improperly formatted prompts will not be imported.

An error message appears if there are prompts that are rejected. Select OK to view the error log. The log appears in a new window, lists each prompt and explains why it failed to import. Select OK to close the error log window.
