Editing a Prompt
With the Prompts Manager, users can edit the text and type of any user-created prompt. Only the Prompt Text can be edited for SoftPro prompts.
- Select Tools > Prompts Manager.
- Click the row containing the prompt to edit.
- Click Edit. The Prompt Edit dialog box displays.
- Edit the Prompt Text and Prompt Type as desired. For SoftPro prompts, users can only edit the Prompt Text.
- Click OK.The prompt appears in the Prompts Manager with the new information.
Resetting SoftPro Prompts
If text has been edited for a SoftPro prompt and the verbiage needs to be reverted to its original text, use the Reset buttons on the Prompts Manager. Select the prompt and click Reset Current Prompt to Default. To reset all SoftPro prompts to their original text, click Reset All Prompts to Default.
Any changes made to prompts are saved once OK is clicked on the Prompts Manager. If undesired changes have been made, select Reset All Prompts to Default or click Cancel to exit the Prompts Manager without saving any changes that were made.
